The historic cabin

This old Florida wooden cabin was the home of Bruce Matheson during his Miami-Dade Junior College days. In 1963 his father, Hugh Matheson jr., ordered the construction of all the buildings on the property and he and his wife occupied the main house. The cozy cabin was renovated with new a kitchen, bathroom, interior paneling and a new roof. The floor is original Dade County pine which exudes a fragrance of times past.
